Residents Impacted by inundation in two different locations in East Jakarta, Thursday (2/29), received food assistance from Social Sub-agency.
The assistance is based on urban village's request
Acting East Jakarta Social Sub-agency Head, Abdul Salam, said lunch was given to residents at RW 04 and 05 Rawa Terate Urban Village and RW 15 and 16 Kayu Putih Urban Village.
Two Refugee Tents Provided in Rawa TerateFor Rawa Terate Urban Village residents, he added, his side distributed 900 boxes of food, while in Kayu Putih Urban Village received 600 boxes.
"The assistance is based on urban village's request," Salam said.
Rawa Terate Urban Village Secretary, Daniel Wisnu Parulian, admitted his side also distributed 200 boxes of food for the residents impacted by inundation. Totally, there were 1,100 boxes distributed today.
"It surely lighten the residents burden," he stated.
Meanwhile, Kayu Putih Urban Village Head, Tuti Sugihastuti, thanked to the East Jakarta Social Sub-agency for distributing the assistance. Including related units for assisting the inundation handling.
"The assistance was directly distributed to RW 15 and 16," he admitted.
